60 Days
Early in July, I posted about our house being put on the market. We now know more and we have 60 days to move. I think we’re all still kind of shell-shocked about it. Well…I am. This is gonna be fun. Fun isn’t really the right word, but I’m trying to be optimistic.
I don’t mind moving. Honestly, I think it’s kind of fun. I don’t like packing and I don’t like moving. But I do like setting up a house and finding places for things and hanging pictures on the walls and cleaning. Those activities far outweigh the packing and moving. I haven’t lived in one house longer than five years in my life. I won’t get to live for a year in my current place. This has been the norm for me, which is probably why I don’t mind moving so much. It would be far more odd for me to live in one house for a long period of time. I was joking with my brother the other day that perhaps I was a gypsy in a former life. He agreed that we both probably were.
So…I guess my next step is rather obvious : Find a place to live. Preferably one that’s within my budget. And safe. Those are the two major concerns. Let the search begin. And try not to freak out in the meantime about all the details.

you are going to:
Walk by Faith not by sight
now lets see what this new adverture brings in the life of Callee and Keenan–I am right there with you I hated the packing but loved the move and meeting new people, fixing up our new home, and such. ( you are not moving 1 milk cow, 6 head of horses and enought tack for an army) Just to let you know your dad was fired twice from two different jobs because he would not work any harder(that makes me laugh now)–one was when I was going to have your baby brother in 4 months. LIfe is an adventure and it will be fun to see where this one leads. Hang on tight & remember you are loved
Thanks for putting that into perspective
I’m glad I don’t have a milk cow and 6 head of horses along with their respective tack to move, along with the rest of the household stuff.
Thanks
Oh dear, you liked that house so much didn’t you? But. Look on it as an adventure! Somewhere new to have fun arranging things and making a home in. Are you going to keep living with the same friends?
I don’t think so…they’re looking at taking a different route and hopefully it will work out for them. I’m crossing my fingers. I’m looking at getting an apartment of my own. I do look at it as an adventure
It’ll be fun!
